Letzte Woche eröffnete in Wien der Happy Socks Pop Up Shop.
L-R: What do you think about the importance of socks in a wardrobe?
Lovisa Tingman: Well, of course I think it’s very important. For me as working at Happy Socks, I think it is a very good way to express yourself in the small details. Specially, for me personally, I like to have a lot of colours and I’m not wearing all-black. For a lot of people you have to look really business at work or in the office, it is a way to be creative in their dressing and express themselves. So I think it is important in a wardrobe.
L-R: Which colours / patterns do you prefer?
L T: It switches each season but at the moment I like the big dots in white and red.
L-R: Happy Socks had quite a few collaborations in the past. How do you select?
L T: There is a selection with whom we do a collaboration. The founders Michael and Victor do the selection and we search for a connection in some way and of course for the artist collaborations for someone who has fun, is creative and stylish. For example our cooperation with David LaChapelle fitted so well because he also uses a lot of colours in his work.
L-R: I liked the cooperation with the shoe brand Keds. It fitted so well.
L T: Yes, thats true. Keds is a brand, where you can easily take our patterns to their products and the other way around.
L-R: What is a pair of Happy Socks, which everyone should have?
L T: If you should just have one pair, then you should have the pair you are wearing. (haha)
Because they have a lot of colour and they match to a lot.
